Opened in 1962, the IFMK trains about sixty masseurs and physiotherapists every year. The institute benefits of a specialised equip and a pedagogical equipment adapted to the spe’cific characteristics of the training in massage and physiotherapy, which notably allow the development of practical training and work in restricted groups.

Opened in 1972, the IFE of Berck-sur-Mer is one of the eight French Institutes which trains occupational therapists. The institute has established various contractual partnerships with similar establishments in other countries and especially with the University Laval (Québec, Canada).
